Italian Greyhounds

Welcome!

I would like to welcome you to my website.

My name is Cherie Tulk and I live in Melbourne, Victoria Australia with my family and my dogs. My four girls, Tamara, Courtney, Zaria and Jordan all share my love for dogs and are involved with me in the showing and the handling.

I have been showing and breeding dogs for a number of years now my first breed was the Akita Inu. I have also been involved with the Dogue De Bordeux.

As a complete change from these big beatiful dogs I have moved into  Italian Greyhounds. Since owning italian greyhounds for the last few years I have come to understand what graceful fun dogs the iggies are. I have been involved with Italian Greyhounds now since March 2008 when my first boy was born. This boy is just a pet now as although he is a stunning boy he grew too big for the showring.

The photo of the  boy below is my second boy, "Dino". Dino came from my dear friend Chris Scott - Tunamara Kennels in South Australia. Thank you Christine so much for entrusting Dino to me. We love him.  Chris has also allowed me to show a couple of her gorgeous girls in Melbourne - Australian Champion Tunamara Faiance and more recently little Bambi - Barad Bambina Labamba.

I am now waiting for my own little girl to show and start my breeding program with. I am waiting to find exactly the right little girl to be my foundation girl and start Tacozajo Kennels - italian greyhounds off with a great start.

Please keep a look out for her on my website .

When I start breeding with my iggies I will do so in a very small way, always aiming for soundness and temperement and to the breed standard.

I will have more photos coming soon of my boys in gallery later.

I hope to outline my show results from time to time here.

If you would like to contact me to chat about iggies please dont hesitate to do so. My email address is tacoza_jo@hotmail.com
